Our tasks

• defending the common interests of people with disabilities and promoting the mainstreaming of disability into development policies at all levels;

• creating the platform for discussion and implementation of common action against discrimination on the ground of disability and creating the conditions for equal opportunities and equal treatment;

• legal and social advisory, awareness raising and providing training to people with disabilities on how to overcome the consequences of disability, development of self-defence abilities, raising awareness of the law, increasing employability and improving other skills supporting effective integration into the society;

• supporting the development of the capacities of its member organisations and increasing the level of qualification of their personnel and officers;

• informing and awareness raising of the public, public institutions, businesses, state administration and self-governments about the problems and abilities of people with disabilities and on the possibilities of prevention and elimination of barriers related to disability.
